Lichfield Fitness Community: Family Fitness Adventure hosted by Nurture Network

Join us at this year’s Fuse Festival in Beacon Park 12th-14th of July for one of the largest community festivals in the Midlands!


Nurture Network is proud to be hosting #Fabricoflife art installation alongside a range of inspiring family friendly events, kindly supported by our community partners. 


Pete from the Lichfield Fitness Community will be joining us for Family Fitness Adventures at 2pm, expect lots of fun for the whole family including games & activites suitable for all ages.

The Lichfield Fitness Community offer a range of activites all year round, including;

  • Boxercise & Group Sparring – Various locations in Lichfield

Not to be missed! Join the Lichfield Fitness Community at What’s in The Woods Day on the 14th August where they will be running some official Taster sessions alongside offering other sessions and activities. The Forest program will include Boot Camp style, Rabble …as well as a Junior Fit Camp. 


Watch out for Beacon fitness which will include Outdoor Boxercise and Rabble, in conjunction with Health & Wellbeing team Lichfield District Council.

How to get here


Lichfield District is in southern Staffordshire, convenient for Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre. The M6 Toll also runs down the western side of the district and links the M6 with the M42. Visit www.m6toll.co.uk for charges.


By road


The A38 and A5 meet in Lichfield and provide direct access to the Midlands motorway network: M42, M50, M40, M5/M6, and M6 Toll.

There are two electric charging points in the Friary Outer car park – please view the car park map for the location.


By rail


Lichfield has two railway stations. Lichfield City Station on Birmingham Road is just minutes from the city centre. Just opposite the bus station, it offers frequent direct services to both Birmingham New Street, and Lichfield Trent Valley Station*.


Lichfield Trent Valley Station is about a five-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the city centre. There are also frequent services to and from Lichfield City Station*, with services to Birmingham New Street.  It offers direct services to London Euston and the north. The station can be easily reached by car, taxi, or train from Lichfield City Station and offers ample parking.


London North-western Railway offers direct services from major cities, such as London, Birmingham and Liverpool to Lichfield Trent Valley station. Advance fares available from just £8.00 one-way when travelling from London to Lichfield.
